For the last 30 years, Warren Wamberg has served as the CEO of several companies in Minneapolis, Illinois, and San Diego. When not working, Warren Wamberg engages in many other interests and particularly enjoys reading military history, flying, and golf. Following are three noteworthy courses in San Diego.
1. As the site of the 2021 U.S. Open, Torrey Pines South Course is a world-renowned course where many famous golfers have teed off. The course is named after the Torrey pine trees that grow atop the steep cliffs along the Pacific Ocean. Most importantly, the course provides visitors with top playing conditions.
2. Torrey Pines North Course is the sister course to Torrey Pines South. Golfers can enjoy panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, and although the North Course is priced lower than the South course, it still provides golfers with a pro-golf experience.
3. Designed by famed golf course architect Ted Robinson, Enagic Golf Club at Eastlake is another championship course that features three waterfalls, six lakes, and many acres of trees. The 18-hole course has bluegrass and ryegrass fairways, and hosts the Farmers Insurance Open Pre-Qualifying.
